I still have a need for a Ge 4/4 II ! Preferably Arosa of course...but I'm not that fussy. They're sooo expensive though - especially as I'll tear it apart to fit r/c and battery power and ruin it's 'collectability' :rolf:

Excellent, Phil! Definitely not a project for the faint-hearted, but brilliant results.

Arosa was the first large electric I bought, s/h from GRS in Princes Risborough in 1997 - since then much damage has been caused to the wallet acquiring Mk III's, Mk II's and even a Kiss Mk I. Shortly to collect a Bernina 100 Ge 4/4 II (don't tell 'er indoors) - couldn't resist! I decided belatedly that it was big locos and bogie coaches that I really liked, having bought all kinds of other things along the way - now mainly moved on to other railways where they are appreciated and used rather than boxed!

Although the Pontresina version looks good. Might need to make some masks to do it though

Yeah, since taking the holiday in Swizzerland I have just totally fallen in love with them, although they are completely out of the general direction the L&L takes! I suppose I may be sated by getting a Croc, the older ones seem a bit cheaper. I'll only need 3 coaches, to fit in the loop at the station, so I am convincing myself it won't be too bad....I have ONE coach!!!!! I don't like the III's much, too modern for my tastes, although if they did the BUGA one it might just tempt!

Um... Dietz are issuing it later this year, rtr, but it won't be as good as yours... btw, Troeger has released transfers/stickers to convert the LGB RhB containers into Aldi livery... ;)
Yes Bruce I have seen them. Thanks
