Got a spare body from Warrenreich, badly scratched., when it arrived. So out came the primer, pity really it was Radio Grischa.
Went to Bolton auto paint , quick colour match off BCU and this is the result:thumbup:

Got the "EMS" logo from themselves by email. Very helpful people.

Told what colours to use.

It's similar to tartan paint

I never got on with that, the squares always came out up side down.
 
Dunno how I missed this but a very nice job Phil :) Still trying to find an HOm one at a sensible price as the missus is Em, for some reason when we went to the RhB she wasn't delighted when this pulled the first train she went on. The comment was" my names not Ems" Some people just can't appreciate the lengths I go to to make them like the RhB!
 
Thanks Paul, for the comments. So far the above photos have only mock ups on thick clear adhesive sheets.Experimenting now with water slide transfers. Having trouble getting matt acrylic laquer. The gloss one reacts with the transfer. But it's good enough for in the garden:thumbup:. Now for the difficult bit the open heart surgery:rolleyes:
