I just purchased an LGB C&S Mogul recently and was wondering what the function of part number 119 is on the tender (painted yellow)?

I have a picture of the Longmoor Military Railway in the UK using a similar ramp - the railway was a school for the Royal Engineers, and they used to deliberately de-rail locomotives so that the REs could practice re-railing them

Sadly no long an option these days, now we spend days jacking and investigating
