You might be able to slide a switch in were the first left curved track is ( in front of the Stainz )for another spur.(USA lingo ) :wondering:

Could you not replace the point into the left hand sidings with a right hand point to give a straight run instead of the "S"?

There is a post on the back wall that make the sidings smaller if I put a right hand one in.

So I have been busy at the weekend made some real progress, as long as I look as I look at this end of the garden I can get a feel of what it’s going to look like rather than a building site.7666085D-7310-4955-A7EB-9D37FE21A158.jpeg4CA19337-C273-4C06-84AC-48A16E6189CA.jpeg

So I have made the most of the bank holiday weekend, apart from Saturday when it rained all day I suppose it is a bank holiday it had to rain at sometime. However the other two days we got some real work done.
Friday I finished off around the pond and got some more sleeper wall in.
Today got some more track down and some more sleeper wall up at the house. I even got train running only for test purposes of course.:cool:9EAD06DC-FBE9-481D-8E6C-EEE0F738F7F0.jpeg7AED55DC-E67F-4842-BA72-2A62B88F705B.jpeg27268AB4-24B1-47F0-B59A-644AB459E163.jpeg4435ED88-615D-4C59-8DD4-D230AB24DFF2.jpegBBAD6D88-2EDD-4567-A4BA-FBD3B506AC80.jpegF29EDC9B-7A08-4978-80E1-B7C210A21925.jpegA01CFA58-7642-4B8B-82E8-33B2C52782F9.jpeg

And the one about the diligent security guard who checked every barrow of sand leaving the site for contraband only to find out later barrows and sand were being purloined.

SW
You jest - but, when I worked on a 33 storey tower block by Blackfriars Bridge (subsequently, recently extended to 44 storeys o_O ) we had a 'heavy lifting gang' to winch up the 3-phase power cables to the plant room on the roof.

When they came down at night, their transit van was backed up near the gate of the passenger hoist. Each man climbed into the back of the van and his foot landed heavily on the floor at the back - STOMP!

.................and as he did so, he dropped the 18" length of 4 core, HV cable on the floor of the van that had been concealed beneath his Donkey Jacket.

Sadly, we didn't intervene as they were employed by the electrical sub-contractor who was supplying the cable :tmi::tmi:

Very good, you have achieved a great deal in a very short time. Top marks. View from the patio is going to be just perfect with a Train trundling round the line. Though me feers you may get tired of peering through all that wood to see Trains when sitting down?

Looks great, Adam! I would love to do something similar, now that the original LHRR has been disbanded. I think I will take the winter to think it over...

Yes the hole line is on thermalite blocks. Easy to cut to shape and nice sturdy base for the track bed.
No, the screw through the middle of the sleeper :clap::clap:
