Hello friends
This is a signal box for my layout in 1:32 gauge. I was inspirated in a old signal box of French Drove.
Step by step in my Instagram @ruzsandoval , I hope you like it!!
Best Regards

Jaime

Hi, really i don’t know, work some hours or minutes, but not all the days. besides work in other projects for me layout simultaneously. I've noticed that I work faster than before. It’s a very interesting hobby for me ... with the right materials and inspiration you can achieve beautiful results

WOW! That is really nice. I don't mean to be Mr. Critical but the white mortar seems a bit excessive. Do you intend to support the landing and steps with posts? To me it makes little sense structurally as it is.
I really do like it though. Great job!

Yes , you are in the correct!!, Many thanks!!! At least one post I need to manufacture, the color of the wall depends on weather conditions and age, for example this real photo of a wall

OK. Is that old style lime whitewash or just weathered paint?

Yes, I had a Google. Many signal boxes do have cantilevered or knee braces under the landing/balcony but I suspect yours should have a post at the top of the stairs on the outside. Perhaps there is one hidden behind the 'e' in the original image. Is that a knee brace under the landing in the far distance? There is a dark line in the shadows that suggests that but perhaps it could just be cantilevered. My understanding of signal box landings has just improved. :)
Ever since I built a post and beam barn with bents and perlins, I always look at things like that. :nerd:  I love signal boxes! :h:
