Hello
I have just become the owner of an MRC AD325 decoder. Has anyone got the wiring/connection diagram for it please?

Thanks Gents. The 324 looks almost identical to my 325. I wonder what is the difference?

HAH!, coffee on my screen! Where's that paper towel?

Do you have any documentation that shows the number AD325?

Does it look like the 324?

Just got round to using my decoder. I can read the CVs OK and the connected motor kicks when doing so. However, when I try to use it to drive a loco, it is dead. Any ideas?

Yes, unfortunately, throw it away. I have a handful I use to test locos sometimes. They often self dectruct, the regulator IC goes, the relay logic latches up, will only go one direction, and the output transistor blows up.

I have some info on the AD322 on my site: MRC AD322

Update: I also added a link to the AD324 manual on that same page

Was just curious.

So, when programming, the motor kicks, so it seems the motor driver may be ok. When you change direction, you should hear the relay click (that relay reverses the motor output.)

one thought is addressing, i.e. NMRA service mode talks to the loco no matter what it's address.

Have you double checked not only the address, but that CV29 is set to use the address (not only the value, but short or long address)? (I assume you can read CV's)

It might be working.
