More madness

AFAIK that's an example of the only U class model produced with factory fitted sound. It was never available as a separate item, only as part of a set with some coaches. This tends to make it a desirable item.
 
For some people maybe , but unless you are an avid lgb collector , who dosn't want the whole set , which is available on e-bay at the moment for £600 fully boxed , paying that price seems a bit pointless to me . But at the end of the day they are plastic , made in a factory by people. Not something engineered by craftsmen. I would rather put that amount of money towards a live steam loco.

Morning All, I don't get this either, why would anyone want to pay that much for a single loco at that price,when at the same time also on EvilBay you can get the complete collectors set for around the same price.!!.:confused:
 
Hi and hello I bought the complete set on ebay this week for under 600 and am extremely pleased, I sold a set some months back and regretted it I never thought I would get another mint boxed set again, so yes that loco on its own is quite dear. I would never pay that, but it seems that someone is really trying with the LGB stuff good luck to them if people want to pay it.

Exactly! I don't care how much people ask for there stuff, if it sells it just makes mine more valuable!! If somebody actually pays that for it who's the fool? Seller or buyer?
