This was a big subject in the village local last year , as I recall the best options were 1) Traps readily available but on no account touch them without gloves on. 2) bottles placed into the molehills with the open top upwards, apparently the sound of the wind blowing across the tops of the bottles puts them about . 3) electronic mole scarer. In the end none of these worked , my neighbor he to wait until they had eaten all the readily available worms & they dissapeared on their own.
Poisons are available but not to the general public , you would apparently need a friendly farmer to obtain them.
