No lights! No warning. I was just not quick enough to avoid it. Clipped the front offside corner. Looks minor considering, but no drive.
04:35 for recovery, so if I make it to the venue tomorrow, I may be very tired..

I hope you are OK, @PhilP. Cars often have a fuel cutout that is triggered by inertia -it could be that.

Anything on a motorway you can walk away from is a bonus. It could have been so much worse.

It's an aspect of exhibiting at shows that rarely gets considered - hope the car is repaired swiftly. The nerves can be settled with a stiff scotch
