Massoth XLS Issue

I have a Frank S fitted with a XLS decoder. for some reason the decoder is stuck on the loco whistle as it is constantly whistling. It will do a full loco whistle pause for half a second and repeat it again and again etc. Any ideas tips etc much appreciated.

Maybe its just happy in its work

Dirty track? Every time the power reconnects, even after a very momentary loss, the cycle starts again with the whistle. My Stains with a LS does the same..

I coupled it up to a van with metal wheels and additional pickups plugged into the lighting socket.

Thought that, but it does it on me indoor clean test track when not moving

Navigator M3 .M1 decoder prog.M2 then M1 to cv reading

Then enter cv no and it will read the cv

Forgot you are on MTS it won't let you do it.
