Massoth 2 Track Bender

Excellent, you know what you have, so you know what to ask for.

PhilP.
Hi PhilP, As you say I know what I have and I have already written to my Contact at Massoth.About the bearings Lucky I have a circlip tool at home.Once again thanks for all the help.TTFN Babs

I note that you bender is somewhat different to mine but the principles should be the same.

Ok some pics of mine. As Philip says you are clearly missing the rollers, these look much like a ball bearing and there should be 6 as you can see from my pice below.

Above with a length of rail in to show how it fits, but Inthink you may have already worked that out.

Above without some rail, felt line shows how rail sits in bender.

Above showing the top, I have given my self a reminder in felt to show how the bender works as it can be years between each time I use it! Noting the scale 0 is where you start, anti clockwise turn goes to less press with the rollers makes fitting the rails easier and clockwise moves the scale up thus pressing the rollers harder onto the rail and thus curving it.
Thank you for posting this -I didn't manage to take any pics of mine, and am now away for a few days, so you've crossed something off my to do list!

Hi Everyone, I had a reply from my contact at massoth Very helpful Everything is set up for 332 rail and I have put the plastic caps back in.I also have the spacers for 250 rail So all is good will be having a go this afternoon Thank you everyone for your input. The contacts reply is below. TTFN Babs

Hi Barbara,

there has been a change with the track benders, seems you have the newer
version where the breeding rollers are now inside and no longer outside
on top.
The picture shows me that the plastic slider caps are missing (they are
usually put on these four little holes and come in a little bag in the
trackbender box together with four washers). Have you tried to use it
yet?

Afternoon Guy's Well we have made some progress.Sadly I had to use the other track bender as I could not get the massoth to work we are nearly there When it's dry later in the week I will replace the offending bit of track MyPartner has had to turn the handle/nob as I have lost all my muscle power in my arms in the latter stages of the bend.
