Afternoon all.
I'm refurbishing some old LGB manual point switches. Does anyone know where I can source the right wire to replace the ones that have been broken please?
Many thanks,
Trevor
Tichy Train Group brings together the best of two worlds, combining the fun and reward of fine model railroad building with the rapidly growing interest in prototype railroading, freight cars and structures, in particular.
I found a couple of these, one with extremely rusty steel wire. Just cleaned out all the accumulated carp, bobbed some grease on it and was back in working order. I would think a steel wire of some sort around the same thickness should be fine as well.

Hi Dan.
Thanks for the very kind offer. I have enough, given that I get them fixed. I use electric point motors for most of the turnout, keeping the manual switches for those close to the controls.
Thanks again.
Trevor
