Linz Gstadt Bahn 2

Even better after a few beers, he'll have 4
Yes I reckon at least 4 wizzies looking at the vid with 2 different to the all red ones. Hm making sure none of us other lot get them? Still I have my one which is a cracker. Get them while you can.

After using these plastic protection boards on another project I decided to put the surplus boards to good use to keep the falling leaves off the tracks in Linz station. I have other spare boards to cover up Wieselburg and Gstadt stations once I have cleared the leaves off them.

Well spotted Jon. Yes 4 all told - the original 3 on the old line 6 years ago....

If MLGB decided to re-release the 2095 Bobo with the latest multi-protocol decoder with sound and a few detail improvements, I would wager that the cost would be north of £1k - just like the U Class which was re-released last year with all the bells and whistles plus reconfigured lights and etched name plates.

i just caught up with your vidio, a great track layout compact and interesting Fantastic as usual, i got myself a BoBo a few years ago with sound love it and runs so smooth.

There were 3 frosts here all of last winter.
This winter, by today December 8th we have had 6 frosts so far.....
Still, not enough to prevent services running. This morning it was the recently acquired Sachsen IK here on permanent visiting from DR stock.

The base under Gstadt station will be replaced with Postcrete when the temperatures are well above 3 degrees. I may make the passing loop longer and introduce another siding whilst the work is inderway.

The IK works hard up the grade to the first section of mountain line......

And it's changed ends at some point.

Archive picture from 9 years ago on the old layout in Wales.
Both locos are still going strong with original smoke units - which are used every time any one of my steam outline locos are run.

Marvellous pictures - well done for braving the elements :)

Just shown this thread to Mizzy; she is most impressed....

Gstadt station is in much better shape now with only a few details to go plus figures during full on running sessions. The trees have been planted since this shot was taken
