Installed some Austrian Alpine meadows today on the Linz Gstadt Bahn
I also have managed to obtain a couple of water cranes from Grootspoor in spite of the Brexit nonsense.

I've never been to Austria, but that grassland is very reminiscent of Switzerland. I imagine there is some overlap of scenery.

I do have some artificial grass, and some plants still manage to take hold and grow.

I shall be installing more of the same to other parts of the layout in due course.
I have also obtained a couple of Pola water cranes and telephone booths from Grootspoor as no one in the uk stocks these items any more.

I have been after a Bobo 2095 for a while now. I managed to acquire a brand new one - a 21950 to supplement the one I already have.
So I need to consider renumbering one and adding a sound chip.

Still some summer sunshine here. The log train is being hauled in the opposite direction to usual running.

Just as well it's double headed to tackle the 1 in 24 slope of the spiral.

The water crane gets stored after every session due to it's fragility

I met up with a few friends at the Llanfair show a few weeks ago and said I was still looking for a Bobo - one of them knew a guy that was selling one that they had never run, so I made the deal.
