You must be getting very good at taking stainz appart. the number you seem to have acquired. :)
I am.
I once chipped a Stainz in 12 minutes flat for a friend at the North West G Scale Society meeting.

I have 2 Stainz to chip would almost be worth driving up you to get you to do them at that speed lol

Here is the Stainz in action. Smoke is by DCC track power through the pick up bullets, skates have been removed.
All three locos are battery powered.

The new cleaning shoes arrived. No HM highway robber fees. they fit LGB skates too.
might try all four at once on a V52.

The Wee Track cleaner loco is going round and round the track. This is the view from my office window.

The Piko track cleaning shoes help….. but when it comes down to elephant sized pigeon droppings only an LGB Trackrubber cuts the mustard.

Certainly also applies to leaf sap off a silver birch too

Thank you. The grass is of the fake variety. The station at Gstadt is real enough though

Can you remember where you got the fake variety of grass from? I got some from lidl some years ago and it was more like snooker cloth than grass.

There is plenty of fake grass on eBay. Most sellers will send you samples for a few quid.
