Linz Gstadt Bahn 2

That loco is an Engerth Mh6. It is a hybrid - a Regner brass body and complete tender on an LGB Rugens 0-8-0 chassis along a with a Massoth sound card and decoder.

That's a bit strange to us Dutch native speakers. In Dutch we have the word "engerd" which sounds exactly like "Engerth" and it means "the scary one".

Thanks for response everyone, It sure is a nice loco

I seam to remember some time back you trying to flog the Engerth, bet you are glad now it did not sell. Lovely beast. Had a couple of runs behind one at Gmund and seen a few more at sundry Austrian lines on my travels. One line where one of them was in bits.

…… and I still have not got round to putting a decoder in mine:

….. must do it some day

It has run on the Romney Marsh Model Engineering Club track on analogue many years ago:

A new arrival at the LGB. This loco did run on Austrian narrow gauge at Gmünd for a few years after the war until 1948 so that’s my excuse
