I'm sure this is probably old news to many of you web savvy peoples but I've just discovered how to create links to specific parts of Youtube videos

The standard link to one of my videos is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qjiueamhGo#t=132s < Link To https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qjiueamhGo

by adding #t= and then a number of seconds - eg 132s to the address takes you to (in this case) 132 seconds into the video - ie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qjiueamhGo#t=132s

Alternatively, if you right click on a video at any point during playback you can select the option 'Copy video URL at the current time'. I find it's a bit more reliable if you pause the video and then right click.

Once again - sorry to those who have always known this but I don't recall seeing it shared on here before.

I didn't know that :D That could actually be a very useful bit of information. One of my camera on train videos has a little wait at the beginning so would be useful to cut past that.
Thanks

I'm also thinking it would be quite useful when referring forum members to a specific bit of video which might be of particular interest - for example here's Bob Symes' diesel-electric loco from his 'Model World' series ......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rzAD5V45QU#t=90s
.......... which nestles between an item about model helicopters and one about model trams
