Good day to all

i've recently installed a Massoth emotion M, inside a simple motorized tender coming from the LGB 22150 loco.
Following the instruction, the 4 wires are connected, 2 for the track and 2 for the motor isolated.
My Marlin cs3 don't recognize the tender, and nothing can be modified into the config page, even the cv adress...
So tender don't move at all on the track
Any idea to help me !? i join some pictures of my mounting !
Regards

Do you have the DCC protocol turned on in your CS3?

The Emotion decoder, does not support MFX, to the best of my knowledge.

Good day all. i'm really not a lucky man, i've tried to fit another platine with lgb 55021 dcc decoder, but as previous, my cs3 did not recognize the item. First time i have this case !

Is there a circular gold sticker on the bottom of the tender?

Could be the decoder is set to 14 speed-steps? - CS3 will (I believe) not work if the decoder is set to 14 speed-steps.

PhiliP, not any circular gold sticker, but the D drive printed on the tender, so the motor is electrically yet isolated,

Hi, is it possible you haven’t turned the DIP switches off after installing the decoder. Just a thought.
I am interested to hear the outcome of this query hopefully it will be a successful one.

Thanks Christopher, unfortunately the switches are well turned off...

I must try again, but as the cs3 don't recognize my decoder i can't change the setting in cv29
That was not quite what I meant, I believe that some of the earlier LGB MTS/DCC locomotives only had 14 speed steps thus possibly not able to have 28 steps. Can anyone confirm if I am correct in this assumption please?

I have an emotion M Decoder installed in a Feldbahn loco using my Maerklin CS2 without any problems. Going back to basics, are you trying to program the decoder on a programming track? Is the tender the only item on the programming track? Is the emotion M the only decoder in the tender? What decoder do you have in the Loco?

The M Decoder can run on 14 or 28 speed steps. Mine is set to 28 speed steps.
