LGB sound module for HSB locomotive

Hi does anybody know if I order that following LGB sound unit spare board;

Can I retro fit this to LGB 26813 HSB loco?

I guess it will fit as that is for the smaller 2-6-2, but never been inside the 2-10-2, the sound is slightly different and you'll need a speaker too. Can't say for certain unfortunately but then I keep thinking about upgrading mine to ESU chips but baulked at dismantling them.

I would be very wary of trying to fit this..
You would think it would be easy to get everything into a G scale model, but would be surprised just how awkward it can be!

Even between two different iterations of the same loco, the internal circuitry can be very different.
If you have the model number of your loco, and the six-digit date code from the circular sticker, then the supplier 'may' be able to say that unit will fit. However, if it was for a different model, then all bets are off.
