Evening all,i am the process of taking up my LGB R1 points and R1 curves and replacing them with R3's.. looking at the price of LGB R3 points, just wondered if anybody had tried piko or trainline points and what you thought of them..cheers Mick..

Not sure but im wanting to replace a r3 lgb corner with r3 points, and wondered of Piko would offer direct replacement regarding size. Piko is certainley cheaper though. I notice you have to buy lgb r3 points with a motor..... tutt

i've got a set of Piko R5s - equivalent radius to LGB R3
seem to be well engineered and operate well
they were about £50 from Jeremy
came with a short piece of curved track and a clip on switch to move the slider
manual sprung switch or electric motor would be extra - LGB compatible with slight mod
