Lgb painted wagon

Hi all,

I have a lgb wagon that’s been painted with what looks like model enamel, what’s the best way to remove it and go back to the lgb plastic? I’m not bothered if the transfers underneath the enamel are removed as well.

Model strip if you can still find it in a Model Shop.

Dettol can also be used.

I wouldn't recommend brake fluid these days, but I have used it in the past....

Though I have not tried it on enamel paint.
