Trying to source spare parts for a Forney..

Normal sources seem to suggest that all parts for this model are now out of stock.
So..
Does anybody have one they have 'broken' for a project, or any bits in their 'bits-box' at all?

Peter,
Thank you for the links..

I have been hunting on the Champex Linden site, and it appears all the parts I am after are out of stock. - Mainly 'body' parts, the loco appears to have been dropped!

The Modell Land only seem to list 'common' parts for the Forney. - Wheels/axles, that type of thing.

I am aware some parts may also be used on other models.. I will create a full list of the parts I am having difficulty with.
I can't believe that spare parts are not available for this loco, even if they are in the wrong colour for the model I am trying to fix.

Many thanks,
PhilP

Slowly, slowly catchee monkey!
I finally got some of the parts I was after for this project..

Those I still need are part 43 (on exploded diagram) which is a bracket between the block and the cow-catcher. - I have the back-end of this, but the rest was sheared off the loco, and not sent with it.

Failing that, any good pictures showing the height of the cow-catcher relative to the block, and how far forward it is.. I might be able to fabricate something then.

Bracket for the handrail.. These are 'L' shaped an push into the boiler.. Again, not available as spares.. ?Do they perhaps come with replacement handrails?
A supplier has said if I can get a set (four) good ones, he will produce a mould, and cast in brass.. Only catch is I would have to buy 200 units. - Not sure at the moment if that is 200 'sprues' of 4 or 8, or 200 of the individual brackets.

Oh, and on a slightly different tack..
The vertical 'flagpole/handrails that are on a number of different models.. Does anyone know of a non-destructive way to remove these? - I want to swap some about.

Thanks for looking!
PhilP.
