LGB Feldbahn Loco-Something missing

Some if not all versions of this loco came with optional detailing parts like Bachmann locos with a few oil cans etc and these are location holes that you can glue them into.

Roly This is mine albeit a slightly different version.
It looks as if the holes are for "accessories" eg oilcans etc as suggested by Steve.

Yep, the parts diagram seems to confirm that the holes are for the oil can etc.

Yep, I can also confirm that there should be two different oilcans, moulded in black plastic, that fit into those holes. When these locos were new the two cans came in a baggie with the driver figure, and a tiny tube of plastic glue to fit them in place with.
Yours looks to have the driver, Roly, so I assume the two cans have gone missing sometime in the loco's life, probably a previous owner didn't glue them on.

Whoops I Googled 'LGB Feldbahn' and it showed that image amongst many. It is obvious that when it comes to LGB Euro I know as much as Cameron knows about compassion................
