Lgb BP Olex tank car. Anyone ever seen this version?

Bought this used, no box. The only version i know of is the 45120 old timey version with a brake hut.
Is this a factory model?

Could have been a special for a set of some sort. Or perhaps someone took the tank body and mounted it on a normal tank chassis?

I've got one of those. I also have a green one with a cabin.

The GBDB website has this as 45120 (from 2005). . .

. . . as "The tank is from a LGB tank car 45120 which has been mounted on the frame of an Lehmann Oil tankcar (from set 70420). Drain valve and outlet sleeve have been added. Technically the tankcar is similar to LGB tankcars of the 4040 series."

So it would seem to be an adaptation (unless anyone knows better!). A clue might be the screws under the chassis. Black crossheads could be contemporay to the tank body (but inconclusive), but silver slotted ones would suggest an earlier chassis married to a later tank moulding (always assuming this livery version wasn't available on anything before 2005).

So, seeing Dutchelm’s car, i think its safe to assume these were factory.
I have the 45120 also, and, it has different spouts, on both the side and end, so, its unlikely a switcheroo (tech term)

Fwiw, BP Olex was the German version of BP filling stations, around for a short period, i recall about 1915-1930 ish.

So, the next question is……
Compound…..
Did this lgb 4040 version ever exist in a real life version?
And, if something similar did exist, what was the era?
The car materials warning symbols look modern, but that doesn’t mean the car design is necessarily the same.
