LGB Bargain for somebody..

I already have a couple of these vehicle transporters myself.

Would have suited my era of modelling too Mick but I will pass....
 
These have been re-listed several times so perhaps price too high? Shipping costs a bit steep too. I've been trying to identify the cars to establish their scale. Definitely not 1/18, almost certainly not 1/24. Look like possibly 1/32, so closer to Gauge 1. Any thoughts?

I have the blue BMW 4x4 on my layout which is 1:24. Looks fine next to my LGB trains....

Hi Gizzy. I was going by the comparative widths of the cars and the wagons. There just seemed to be a bit too much space between vehicles and side barriers.

But I'm invoking Rule 8 here? If it looks right to me, then it is right.

It's my train set after all.... :D

Dug out one of my own LGB wagons and put some "1/24" scale cars on - the Porsche is actually wider than a Rolls Royce and the Audi TT appears to take on Smart car proportions. All say 'Made in China' on the bottom. A case of Oriental Rubber Ruler methinks!!!
