OK, useful to know - so the rack ones would actually work fine, just no point in paying a premium for them if you can get the standard ones cheaper....

Just found one of my LGB Grey Rack Coupling fitted Wagons. Comparison pic below shows that the Rack one on the left just has the equivalent of a mm or two shaved off to stop it catching Rack Rail. Worthwhile to know if you need to mod any stock for Rack Line Working, just shave a little off the dropper.

The USA Trains hook and loop couplers are identical to the LGB ones and can be used on LGB models without issue or visual difference if you can find these instead.
