If I want to add a coulpe of 4030's to my fleet, and I definitely want them without printing on the side, what number should I look for? 4030 A? Google gives also examples with DR printing for 4030A, but that is NOT the version I'm looking for...

Here is a rather bad shot from the wagon I'm after. It is in the startset I have from PRE 1970...

If someone has one lying around and is willing to ship to the Netherlands....

The very early 4030 were made without any printing. About 1968-74. Subsequent batches, still coded 4030 had DR and later
Deutsche Reichsbahn printed on them.
Your best bet might be an aerosol rattle can

Hi Henri,

I thought I had one or two very early ones with no printing, but have just been to have a look in the train shed and can't find them - I think I may have sold them on a couple of years ago....
But one thing I DID find was an early 4032 Beer Car, in white with Tucher Pils logos on the side - in a yellow box - if you might fancy that....? ;)

Tomorrow, december 5th, we celebrate 'Sinterklaas' in the Netherlands and a part of Belgium, It is merely a children thing, but as we have 12 and 15 year old kids, what better excuse to continue celebrate Sinterklaas.

And whohooo what did daddy get today? (yes, one day in advance... I know...)
Yep... A plain 4030!!! Yes! Said to be second had at Grootspoor.com, but I can't see what is second about it. It is pristine and looks brand new to me!!

Zerogee: I might fancy your 4032 for a repaint

What is the condition of your beer wagon, as I don't like to paint 'good' models, I like to use beaten up stuff for that...

Hi Henri,

Well done for getting a good plain 4030! The Tucher beer car I have is in excellent condition, probably too nice to repaint......

Oh, and isn't the 5th of December also Krampusnacht.......? Better make sure you haven't been naughty.......
