Try sending them a message with an offer. They are a business not a person. They might want it off their hands for a lesser price. Nothing lost if they say no!
 
May help if you point out a brand new equivalent model only costs around £150 ( I know, I recently bought one!)
 
Hi John, I have 2 of those, not sure on the exact model number though...I will dig them out and see if I have a box for any of them.
