Hi Phil. this looks to be the route to go. I will order 2 of these. please though can you suggest a suitable regulator board and an idea of where I can get one.
If a few extra quid won't break the bank on the project, then Massoth do make their own little regulator (delivering 6v rather than 5v, but I don't think that's a problem in this application - unless Them Wot Know advise otherwise, of course!), and you could simply order one at the same time as the relays:
Phil and others, would that do the job? I'm assuming that the current draw of a pantograph motor wouldn't be likely to exceed the 700mA capacity of this unit?
Once again, there are much cheaper ways of doing the same thing, BUT if you're not particularly experienced with such things then it can be worth spending a little extra just to get something that can be wired up easily with a screwdriver, has known compatibility and comes with actual instructions....!
I'll hand this over now to the X-spurts for further comment!
