All,
Have one of the above.. Both loco and tender motorised, but original wiring stripped-out, and small Digitrax decoders fitted.
At least one of the decoders has 'gone', and the associated motor seems to have been the cause.

Fitting a new motor, and converting back to analogue.

Does anyone have one of these?
Am after info on whether the front / rear lights are on all the time, or dependent on direction.

Thanks in advance,
Phil Partridge.

Every one of these I have come across has had directional lighting. However they have been produced for many years & may vary.

Thanks for that..
Now, to work-out the minimum number of diodes to 'make it so'.. ;) :D ;D ;D

2 diodes same as a stainz, it is after all a super stainz, 1 diode in frontlight, 1 in rear light, common feed to diode pair front on one, rear on other

Thanks.. 4 diodes.. Two in loco, two in tender..
Crude but effective! ;)

Why?
One in loco for front light, one in tender for back light.
