Lazy Grange Bay 3...a new start

The software is doing exactly what it has been told to do..

Not, what a programmer thinks they have told it to do..

First thing to work out is if it is the software on the devices taking / posting the pictures, or the software running the Forum?

I have been offered his favourite loco.. which is a lovely way to. Rember him by..David had only recently purchased it, i belive , so it's been cleaned ..top tip. To clean the dusty checkerplate, cylinder blocks and the valve gear, use the wife's electric toothbrush!! Just don't get caught

Thanks for the tip re the use of an electric toothbrush for cleaning: I now have an excuse for not discarding used brush attachments. I may be wrong but in the photo the funnel seems to lean ever slightly forward, which was a fault in the original body mould. I recall discussing this with the surviving LGB founder

the late Wolfgang Richter- the Harley-Davidson aficionado. I mentioned at the time that the chassis could serve as a basis for an Unitah mallet where upon Richter left the conference room and returned with a book on the history of Gilsonite mineral (The original basis of the floor covering linoleum manufacturing) hauling railway in Utah/Colorado mountains. So I knew we would see such a loco in a future release!

Those brown mallets were certainly a wonderful beast, mine came in the wooden box set (imported from Germany as he was working over there so the price was very good ) with 2 pullmans an oblong of track and controller. A great set, it was moved on to a former forum member in Hemel who has I think sold it all on again via the forum. I currently have a Black and French Red version.

It certainly has a presence,
Seeing as David worked for clarks shoes company manufacturers
I thought a shoe shoe would be a good tribute to him
