Ta guys..
Had a good day on the railway today..got the inner track completed at last..ran trains... 2 sepert lines now
Was going really well till I triped up..
The bridge is a work in progress..I sprayed the inside gray as it sat on the black weed membrane..this showed were it should sit.. the 4 .long screws will hold it in its correct position...longest widest ect used to test the clearance..20160531_153533.jpg 20160531_095459.jpg 20160531_095514.jpgthe

Argh, the bloody knees are playing up again :D

What is the black stuff covering the woodwork? Shirley not waterproof as the timber should need to breathe - and I don't think you have enough pennies to cover the layout in GoreTex. :think:

Ians right.. weed control membrane..not for weeds...stop the balast falling through any gaps

Got the pump in today...knees sore so not much done

That is certainly comming together nicely Mike. How lovely all that wood looks when new. Granny and eggs sucking mode on, I guess you will be protecting the ends of that vertical facing wood well against the weather?
