Another three hours work on the formers this morning.
Two lengths of screwed rod at the top and bottom now hold the formers together
 
Final survey before committing to finalise sizes

Demolition begins to try and get the foundations in for the new briidge. Want to try and keep trains running until the last minute, hence only three piers have gone..
Just hope it will carry the weight

Well thats enough for today . The forecast said rain at four, so I suppose3.30 is near enough
 
The fourth pier has been removed/
And it still stands
 
Was thinking of arunning session to say good bye to it.
However a hello to the new one sounds better
