having watched quite a few videos on u tube,,, why is it that many of the b man k27s wheel revolutions dont seem to be in sinc with the chuff

where you expect it to chuff,,,,

is this down to the optical chuff and can it be adjusted to be in sinc with wheel position,,,,

or do you just fit a axle mounted switch,,,

Phoenix seem to think a reed switch and axle mounted magnet(s) is the way to sort this.
I suggest you visit their site via the link below and download the installation notes for the Bachmann K27.
You'll find comments on the optical sensors in a few places in the leaflet.
