K-27 on the West Well

By chance on another thread there is a little bit about mixing up scales. Well, in this little vid the loco,flat car, open gon' and peeps are 1:20.3. The lead gon, crane and its crew car are 1:29. The 'dozer is 1:16. If you have no idea what the prototype's actual size was I recon you can mix em' up.
Oh and before you ask about the buildings - if the WHR can run ex-SA Garratts in Snowdonia then I can run a K-27 in the English countryside.

Very nice vid. Even though the stock is of different scales, it still looks 'right'. (Don't forget, even though the Garretts were from SA, where did most originate from?)

I have to ask though, the K27 runs through the facing points v easily,
what make are your points and what radii?

Looks great to me, Max - a very nice MOW train

Looks mighty fine to me and the mix of rollingstock is also good. Some of the USA Trains MOW kit is in fact about 1:24 to 1:22.5 scale (something to do with the time around Delton and Aristio history I think) so it does lend itself closer to 1:20.3 than at first sight.

When I saw it in a shop I was supprised at its size given its make, USA Trains. Now I know why. Thanks for the history lesson.
With regards to the trackwork my points (6ft radius) and crossings come from Garden Railway Specialist. The rest is regular LGB flexi and set track.
