Ahh, now I see.... ...I should have looked closer!

With the connector in the Bachmann's tender, dropping a sound card in is pretty quick (even using a second hand sound DCC decoder (running on DC))..... its definitely easier than what you had to do for the RC wiring with the soundtraxx sierra in my old girl!...... in fact an old soundtraxx sierra card might just be the ticket..... guess who might have one?
PS... this also goes for the C19........
