Jackson & Sharp combine interior What colour

I have just got a nice AMS 1:20.3 model of a Jackson & Sharp combine coach and have some seated figures to put inside , at the same time as i have the body off i was thinking of painting the interior as it's all moulded in brown plastic should the seats metal work be painted black with brown seats the stove will be painted black but was not sure what colours the walls and ceilings would be have looked on Google images but can't seem to find any pics of the interiors .

Hi ,That sounds good i would have thought they were painted much the same as D&RGW have just gone through all my old copies of Garden Railways magazine and found a EBT coach made and painted by Kevin Strong shows the walls painted brown lower half and a pale yellow/green upper and the ceiling looks white would this be like your photo's ?

Hi ,That sounds good i would have thought they were painted much the same as D&RGW have just gone through all my old copies of Garden Railways magazine and found a EBT coach made and painted by Kevin Strong shows the walls painted brown lower half and a pale yellow/green upper and the ceiling looks white would this be like your photo's ?

The one I travelled in last September had a varnished wood interior with a painted ceiling as can be seen from the pictures below. You might find painting the ceiling a bit of a challenge!!!

After 6 hours of painting this is the final finish . Floor painted and weathered brown seats painted a brown/red leather effect with black metal frame work , stoves painted black and walls painted two tone brown and figures added

You got some patience there looking brill, like them characters in the seats , bit 'local' lookin to me ,haha​

Cheers Pete the figures are 16mm from Back2bay6 i repainted the lady in blue as she looked a bit modern in purple , Just looking at the pic again i don't think much of the toilet looks more like a potty for those figures Have also painted the interior of the coach brown but have left the ceiling .

Managed to get the body back on today not the easiest job just glad i haven't got to remove it again .

Looks very nicely finished now,, always makes thing look a bit more individual and finished,​

I always look in coach windows and cabs to see figures as it makes it so more interesting, the extra weight will be good as well for stabilty , smashing,

Cheers Pete & Phil for your comments would love a string of these but can't afford any more just yet maybe a coach at a later date but that would mean twice as many seats to paint , not sure how many my K-27 would pull as it's rather a heavy coach with drag from the power pick up's .
