Ivor the Engine

We have had a request to produce a soundcard for Ivor the Engine, a loco which is popular in children's stories in the UK. It has a unique chuff and use of whistles. Does anyone else have interest in G scale or ride on versions of this loco?

I would be interested, but think you may find that the licensing would be prohibitive?

May be worth contacting Rail-roadmodels.co.uk Ivor the Engine as they claim to be the only licensed producer of kits for Ivor for garden railways, so they may be able to help you with how to go about licensing it, as they have already gone through the process. I too look forward to seeing what you produce if you get permission. I have found him very helpful, and his kits good value if you have the patience to build them.
