It certainly is Sean. In fact all of my layouts have been raised. However, I wish I had raised it more this time.
I can certainly relate to that - I've yet to meet anyone over 45 who can COMFORTABLY cope with anything less than 1 mtr.

It pains me to think of the number of low level lines that I just can't visit any longer - at least not to run trains.

I am 67, and my layout is at ground level, and i don't struggle with it, but then being married I am often on my hands and knees ;)
