How to remove already read items on this forum

Can anybody explain to me how i can set my account so that all items read by me show no longer as if they still have to be read by me?
I noticed that the initially dark blue subject line gets light blue , but a few days later appears to be dark blue again?

I think they only go dark blue again because new comments have been made after you last read a thread.
