I have 18 aristro curves which are unmarked (product number wise) and i was just wondering what is the correct way to messure these?
i know theres 16 to a circle ( i have two spare) and they appper to be 48" inch from center point of circle to center line of curves is this the correct way to mesure them or is it from center to outside rail or edges of sleepers?

at the moment i belive them to be aristro#11600 but im not entrierly sure.
bought second hand see so no box!

Centre of the circle to the centre of the track (as you have done) is the usual measurement of radius as far as I know, but if you're looking to identify the part number then do remember that some brands tend to quote diameter rather than radius, Aristo being one of them by the look of it.

Which then implies that if your track is 48" radius then that does seem to be part ART11600 if it's euro sleeper spacing.

When in doubt, compare them with curves of known values. Saves a lot of head scratching. Good luck.

I was told some time ago, by a RailTrack employee that curves are measured to the inner face of the outer rail.

I have a Marcway template 36" radius with a label saying it is measured to the centre.
This fits neatly between the rails of a Peco 38" set track curve.

Suggests that Peco use the RailTrack method, as do Mamod.
