I thought I would buy one of those battery powered hand-held fans to create a working fan for the radiator of my diesel loco. I've seen them in our local pound shop but thought I'd save myself the petrol money.

The listing shows he has sold 4 of them, each at £6.99, the latest one having been bought on 19 July.

If you look at the revision history he changed the price on 23 July.

It looks as if he was attempting to put the price up to £9.99, but didn't over-type the 6, so it's probably a mistake rather than the seller being an outrageous chancer!

Why would anyone need a built in torch ? I presume that if the overwhelming cooling effect forces you to put a coat on, and you left your coat in an inconvenient place, you could light up the torch and warm yourself

Now, I'm not that dense. Could his use of the word torch possibly have something to do with illumination :thinking:

Wife has one of those. Stuck it in her handbag (along with all the other things that might be needed over a life-time. It accidentally got switched on. Now it need to have a sleeve made so the fan part can be pushed back on to the spindle. Worth every penny (but not more than).
