Good day all.
New member and here is my first post. My username on all of the train related forums that I frequent is Amfleet25124. Ventured into garden trains twice before, first with my kids using the plastic trains the stores sell at Christmas, then again in 2019 with an LGB starter set that I later ran the Stainz loco with a couple of Bachmann Overton cars around the Christmas Tree.
This time, it's for real and it will stick. I've purchased over the past month or so bit-by-bit pieces to create an LGB RhB consist. Immediate plans are run at the two of my 3 clubs in South Florida that have G Scale layouts (Florida Citrus Model Train Society; Tradewinds & Atlantic Railroad) and then purchase enough track to encircle my swimming pool and run the train there. Long term will be construct a small loop in the backyard next around my wife's garden.
Here are two videos that I took over the Fourth of July Holiday weekend of my RhB consist.
