Hello folks I have been into model building since Adam was a lad starting off with model boats, which I still build, model helicopters which I break more than fly, 14th scale trucks, a I also have a Sherman Tank ;)

With the advent of those wonderful things called grandkids I started making wooden toys and invested in one of the wooden railway sets. Now the little guys are starting to get past the wooden train set I convinced my wife that they would just love a G scale LGB starter set (which is now occupying our family room :D) Of course one thing leads to another and as the garden needs a revamp I suggested to my wife that we might incorporate a small outdoor G scale track. Once an approval in principle was obtained planning commenced as did procurement . So at this point we have planned and procured and waiting next step being the garden revamp. The small outdoor track has at this point planning for some 80m of track :inlove: and two loco's have been procured as well as some rolling stock with the general theme being D&RGW with a small diesel and a Forney steam loco that has bee kitted with sound.

I no doubt will have many questions being new to this branch of modelling and the wonderful world of Massoth DCC which at the moment is all very mysterious.
