Hi all,
I just joined this forum yesterday, and have found lots of good reading.
I have been modeling S gauge trains forever, but want to have a little outdoor train action.
I am working on a small layout using a modified HDPE method. My PVC boards are foam filled trim but seemed to work well so far. I have attached a few construction pictures. it is about 90' of track, plus a 14-15 foot passing siding.
Next steps are to anchor the sub roadbed paint it, and attach track permanently.
I want to use track power, all my track is LGB, picked up used from a few different sources.
Researching a control system and right now thinking that Revolution DCC does everything I need it to do.

Welcome to the Forum!

Look's like you have clear-run for your railway?

Enjoy!

PhilP,
Thank you, I have mostly a clear run because I removed 6 maintenance heavy Abelia shrubs to make room for the trains.
Thanks,
George

Welcome to the forum sir....

Welcome, to the forum, as you've probably read already there's plenty of advice on here, trackbeds is one the latest discussions. Oh, but be warned the jokes can be pretty awful!

Thank you all for the welcome messages,
I may have pushed the envelope when I ran the first train and only had 1/2 the loop down, LOL.
But it has been fun and educational so far.
George
