HAVERTHWAITE AND LAKESIDE RAILWAY

Nice railway, much better when one if the 2-6-4 tanks is running. Is the Narrow Gauge Wagon still in the yard at Haverthwaite?

That is Victor originally along with Vulcan a sister engine started steam working on the West Somerset Railway, both came from the Austin Factory at Longbridge and are quite different from the other engine an Austerity both having outside cylinders and valve gear whereas the Austerity has all them bits hidden between the frames. We had Victor at the West Somerset gala this year doing a think a 50 years celebration since the line opened.
