Harz Railway Coaches

My 10 year old Son has an LGB 2080 S Harz - Querbahn 996001 locomotive which he takes to a local club to run. With a Birthday soon I am looking for some nice used rolling stock to go with it. The classic red and cream coaches would go well but I'm open to offers.

I have asked around at the club but currently there isn't anything suitable.

Depending on how soon the birthday is I would seriously consider the ones you've seen in the other thread as even second hand the LGB ones are well over £100.
I've ordered some to complement my LGB ones so I have different length coaches so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to ship from the US.
Just for info it's the Harz railway or Harzquerbahn, there's no T even though it sounds like it ;) there are also some good DVDs around, belhurst productions are probably the best with "The Harz narrow gauge railways" and steam powered video also have a good one film wise but not as informative, "Steam in the Harz"

Hi Chris. Keep your eyes open - you should be able to pick up the LGB coacvhes for about £80 with a bit of patience.
That loco will also look great with some brown DR vans.
