There is a Harz Kimmel, #37540 for sale on Ebay. Brand new in the original box, going for $195.00. Seems like a very good price. What do you think ?

Has that one got the later-type bogies with the bright plated wheels? If so, then it's a very good buy. If not, and it's the earlier type with the blackened wheels, then it might need a decent-sized power buffer adding - without one they can be a bit troublesome.

I have one that I bought second-hand from Germany, still with the early type wheels, but it came with an Uhlenbrock decoder and a power buffer and runs fine..... others have had power pickup problems with the early unplated wheels.
