Another extension added to the Hartlebury Valley Railway, plus the two sidings added the other week turned into a passing loop, a bridge is yet to be built. Test runs with my Sumpter Valley Mallet and WP & Y Alco.

With the good weather today decided to run some long trains. All my rolling stock and locomotive fleet out. The Sumpter Valley Mallet has 21 double bogies behind it…

Decided to change the track layout a little and make a double track mainline with two running circuits. I now have the original loop around the lawn and by laying double track at the top of the rockery, I can now run two trains on separate loops, without fear of them running into each other. I also simplified the points either side of the station, effectively the station is now an island, and trains can run from one circuit to the other in either direction.
