Although my railway layout is 45mm, I am also a member of the Hornby Railway Collectors' Association, the Yorkshire group of which meets bi-monthly at Drax Community and Social Club opposite Drax power station. I run my 45mm layout there and a member of the HRCA brought along an LGB Corpet Louvet to run, a couple of videos of which are attached. He is interested in selling and so I said I would be willing to advertise it here.
It was bought in 2018 and the videos were taken in August, 2025, and were its first run! He is asking £300 and if anyone is interested and wants photos, given enough notice I could arrange to take these at the April meeting of the group or maybe earlier.
Although the group is Hornby focussed (Hornby O gauge, OO and Dublo and related makes, e.g. Wrenn), you don't have to be a Hornby owner to come to meetings (which, btw, are all running and no admin/discussion) as the motto is "any make, any gauge, any scale". The age of the locos and rolling stock etc, depending who is present, dates from 1923 onwards.
